Fantastic battered sausage and chips, best we have had in a long time. Staff very friendly and even gave us napkins so we could enjoy them locally 😊

visited twice in the last month. 1st was fish and chip (which were brilliant) and the second time I fancied a burger so opted for the 'Overton Burger' and chips.... Burger was amazing but SOOO big I couldn't finish all my chip!!! If you're a burger fan, TRY THE OVERTON BURGER!!! Just be warned its a bit of a monster... :)

Absolutely lovely cod and chips. We have 4 adults in our house and we made the mistake 1st time we visited of ordering 4 large cod and chips. We had a lot of chips left over as we just could not eat anymore. The fish just fell off from the batter. It was hot, juicy and so delicious. We have been back again for 4 cod with 2 small chips. Never had a problem with it being dry. Always queuing out the door so that speaks for itself. Thank you for the lovely food.

Ok, pandemic fish n chips after work on my anniversary, not allowed out and couldn’t be bothered with restaurant prices just to take home to my kitchen table. So went to Mariners, OMG this was amazing, this fish was meaty, fresh and tasty, batter crispy and the chips were perfect. 10 out of 10 great meal, will go back.

That wasn't a large cod it was a whale ! Delicious too. Chicken was tasty and moist. Plenty of chips for two in large portion. Excellent meal.
